WOMbeat! Selects Winner for the “Name our WOMbat!” Contest

hello-my-name-is-wombat-153x2092We are pleased to announce that the name of our WOMbat and the contest winner are finally revealed.

Drum roll please….the winning name for WOMbeat!’s “Name Our WOMbat!” contest is … WhoYaKnow Howie– submitted by Brian Murley of Tampa, FL.  We selected this name because we believe “trustworthy recommendations from people you know” sets WOMbeat! far apart from the other alternatives.  Congratulations, Brian!

By submitting the winning name, Brian has won over $750 in cash and prizes from the following prize sponsors:

Honorable mentions also go out What’s Happening Wally, Buzz, Leonardo DiWOMbat, and WowZa the WOMbat.

We also want to mention that several very clever people also submitted the name Wisdom.  We also liked this name because, believe it or not, a group of WOMbats is called a wisdom.  We hope you will continue to use WOMbeat! to tap into the collective wisdom of your friends and family for the most trustworthy recommendations.

Thank you to everyone for all your creative submissions.  We just had so much fun seeing all the great names!

Also, we must give a special thank you to all of our prize sponsors and our special contest sponsors:
